About 25 years ago I fell into the Real Estate business, at the time I had 3 young children and had just finished getting a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management. Retail work wasn't going to be an ideal job for me as I learned. I met someone in Real Estate who needed an assistant and that is how my career started, I did that for the first couple of years, then I decided to go out on my own. I worked hard at Open House, Floor Duty, phone calling and working with families and friends in my sphere. I met many new people who I have continued to work with over the years and have become friends with. You get to know people pretty well when you spend a lot of time looking for their dream house or helping them sell their existing home. I have worked with quite a few clients who chose to build a home and helped them through that process and many first time buyers as they looked forward to being homeowners for the first time (So much to learn) I have also worked with many people moving into the area and not sure what area they want to live in and people who are just ready to move up. I learned every transaction is different and that is one thing I really love about Real Estate, you certainly don't get bored. I am looking forward to many more years of being a Realtor and getting to know many more awesome families. I am commited to making every transaction smooth and easy and being available to answer all your questions through the process.
I am a life long resident of the Des Moines area and have loved watching how it has grown and changed over the years. I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes 4 precious grandkids. I enjoy being involved in my church and with my church family. In my free time I enjoy staying active with yoga, walks with my dog Maisy, playing Pickleball, reading, movies, playing cards and always am up for something fun going on in the community. The Des Moines area is a great place to raise a family, I'm so grateful my grown children decided to make their home in the Des Moines area also.
